A: An "advertorial" (= advertising + editorial) is a specific type of advertisement that looks like editorial content. It has to be labeled as advertising but is much less intrusive as traditional online advertising.

A: ad4mat® is a signatory of Zanox Code of Conduct which is in many parts more exact and rigorous as the BVDW code.

Q: Does ad4mat® ensure postview banners always being placed within a web site's visible area?

A: Joining an ad4mat® program obliges publishers to accept both the Zanox and the additional ad4mat® eligibility requirements as well as the underlying Zanox Code of Conduct. Among other points, they establish that any ad contact is only valid if made within the visible are of an ad space. In addition, using the admin interface, advertisers may check all publishers which currently display their ads to make sure requirements are met.

Q: How can I match my product offers with the most promising target group?

A: ad4mat® enables you to broadcast and customize your offers according to geographic, demographic and time-based criteria. Using the The Zanox categories and ICRA filters in your merchant account settings, you manage preferred publishers or exclude certain content contexts for your advertising. Please make sure to check and configure your ICRA filter settings according to your needs since ad4mat® default settings are restrictive.

Q: What is the confirmation period for sales and leads?

A: ad4mat® is an indirect partner program, meaning that ad4mat® bundles existing Zanox advertiser programs and broadcasts them in a performance-based way. This, in turn, means that it is the respective advertisers' processing and payment time frames which define ad4mat's payment confirmation. Accordingly, ad4mat® communicates a payment time frame of up to 120 days, even if individual partner programs may take much less than that.

Q: How much is the publisher compensation per individual advertiser program?

A: There is an overview of compensation schemes in your Zanox partner account ("programs" > "my programs"). Under "ad4mat", please click "indirect" to find a listing of all ad4mat® partner programs with their respective compensation.
